山东邹平经济开发区

    山东邹平经济开发区于2003年6月被省政府批准为省级经济开发区，以纺织服装、食品医药、热电冶金为主导产业，区内从业人员12.5万人。2007年，完成工业总产值554.5亿元，利税58.2亿元，现有企业80多家。自2004年连续四年被省政府评为“先进开发区”。07年被确定为全省“科学发展示范园区”。

    开发区东距淄博20公里，西距济南67公里，济青高速公路穿区而过，铁路货运专线开通运行，地理位置和交通条件非常优越。区内基础设施配套完善，基本达到“九通一平”。开发区设立了行政服务中心，对入区企业实行“一站式”服务，制定了包括土地、减免收费等优惠政策。区内热电供应充足，棉纺织、铝业生产具备一定规模，下一步发展方向以服装、铝深加工、新材料、现代服务业为主。

    开发区重点引进铝深加工产业和现代物流业。依托区内氧化铝、电解铝、热电资源，引进高档铝材深加工制造业，配套完善铝加工产业链；与山东运达物流有限公司合作，建设物流中心，发展现代物流业。

    Shandong Zouping Economic Development Zone

    Approved as a provincial level economic development zone by the provincial government in June 2003, Shandong Zouping Economic Development Zone is engaged mainly in textile, clothing, food, medicine, thermal power and metallurgy, with an employment of 125,000. Year 2007 saw a gross industrial output value of 55.45 billion yuan and a pre-tax profit of 5.82 billion yuan, with more than 80 firms. It has been appraised as "Outstanding Development Zone" by provincial government for 4 consecutive years since 2004. It was appointed as a provincial "Scientific Development Demonstration Zone" in 2007.

    The development zone is 20 km away from Zibo to the east and 67 km from Jinan to the west, with Jinan-Qingdao Expressway running across and special railway lines, excellent in geographic position and transportation conditions. The Zone has complete  infrastructures  of “nine availabilities and one leveling”. The development zone has established an administrative service center to provide "One-stop" service to firms settled in the Zone and worked out preferential policies for land use and charge deductions and exemptions. The Zone is abundant in thermal and power supply, and has formed a certain capacity of cotton spinning, weaving and aluminum production. For further development, it aims at clothing, aluminum deep processing, new materials and modern service industries.

    The development zone is to introduce aluminum deep processing industry and modern logistics industry. Relying on the resources of aluminum oxide, electrolytic aluminum and thermal power in the Zone, it is to introduce high class aluminum product deep processing and manufacturing to complete the aluminum processing industrial cluster; Cooperating with Shandong Yunda Logistics Co. Ltd., it is to set up a logistics center to develop modern logistics industry.
